Seeds of Hope Annual Thanksgiving Dinner

Seeds of Hope Casa Grande is planning for an in-person Thanksgiving meal this year to feed our community, so we contributed with over 350 mint cards for dessert! We loved being able to chat with Mr. Mark, Miss Terri, and Miss Tina when we delivered our box of mint cards!
This is a project that is near and dear to us (literally – Seeds of Hope is right down the street from us on Cottonwood Lane!) and we have been making treats for this event since 2010! That’s 12 years and over 3,5000 cards made to celebrate this community effort to feed and serve others.
This year, we went with a heart-centered approach to the Give Thanks sentiment, blending traditional fall colors (orange, kraft, brown, and red) with pops of green, purple, and blue. We used a 1.5” scallop punch to create homes for a variety of heart shapes – some from a tiny punch and either adhesive or regular cardstock, some stamped and hand-cut, or punched with a 1” circle punch! We used all different shapes and sizes to represent all of the people in our community.
This Thanksgiving, we have so much to be thankful for, but crafting and community are near the top of our list! Please find out more about Seeds of Hope here (https://seedsofhopeaz.com), and anyone is welcome to join in their meal, so please contact them to find out more if you or anyone you know would like to have a hot meal there today. If you’re interested in participating in our Seeds of Hope project or any of our projects next year, please fill out the form below and we will connect with you. We are so thankful for the opportunities we have to serve others!
