We’re here!

The blog has been quiet over the summer, but we’re still crafting every month! Lately we’ve been working on more “hello” cards for the community, along with these cute Christmas and adoption cards.

This was a collaborative effort with me, Miss Marlene, and her new-found friend, a Cricut electronic die-cutting machine. I wrote the “merry” in calligraphy, scanned it, and sent it to Marlene, who cut it from vinyl on her machine.

Inspired by the movie “Up”, we made these Congratulations cards for our annual commission from Miss Donna, who helps coordinate the Juvenile Court Adoption Day in November. It’s such an honor to be a small part of a special day for loving families!

Thank you for your continued support for Spark a Smile! We still meet on the second Wednesday of every month, from 5-7PM, to create pretty paper things for the community. This week, we’re starting our annual Thanksgiving treat project for the Seeds of Hope/community dinner that feeds over 350. Hope you can join us on October 12th!
