We had a great turnout for April’s Spark a Smile! Miss Tyler and her mom joined us again, and even brought Tyler’s grandma! We were also joined by our family friends, Eric and Claire. It was fun to see Eric wielding stickers instead of bicycling gear, and giggle with his sweet daughter (who is growing up way too fast!).
This month we made fun kid mini-cards for the pediatric department at the hospital. Love this combo of green/blue felt stars with star-like patterned paper, and glitter cardstock!
I’m not sure who cleverly added this shadow to the guitar, but it’s a great little detail!
Miss Tyler added a string of Star stickers to this great orange/yellow piece.
Miss Marlene loved this monster paper she found at Michael’s, and added speech bubbles saying “Hello”. Eric added his own twist, and his monsters said, “Smile”, “Do I look funny?” and “I like your hair”. Hahaha.
The RockStar/crown sticker set that I found on clearance for 50 cents worked really well with the pink crown paper that Miss Marlene found!
I also found these cute puffy fruit stickers on clearance, and Claire came up with this bright design.
And finally, what kid doesn’t love Mickey? Even my little boy, who is just over 1.5 years old, loves Mickey! Miss Marlene found this fun Mickey paper, added a Mickey head punch, and I added a “hello”!
Spark a Smile card parties are always free, and hosted at Yang & Horsley Dentistry (325 E. Cottonwood Lane). Hope you’ll join us next Wednesday, May 8th, from 5-7PM!
