Welcome, 2013! But first, here’s a look back at our last SAS of 2012.
We wrapped up the year by wrapping up the “leftovers” from over the years. Remember these pink cards we made in October for the American Cancer Society? Miss Kathy and Pat finished those up, making over 45 cards!
Miss Janie loved these teeny beach mini-cards that we first made in the summer of 2011, so she created 12 before she had to sneak out early.
These pink flowers had been stewing in my stash for almost 3 years, but found the perfect place when I saw this pink/green patterned paper that Miss Marlene was using.
Miss Marlene had some leftover stacks of My Mind’s Eye 6×6 paper pads, so she brought those to the table and paired them with these cute “Can’t Smile Without You” greetings that we used last February.
Then, I used her leftovers to create another bird-based card! It was fun to use some leftover pieces to make something fresh and new.
We have exciting things planned for Spark a Smile in the New Year and hope you’ll be able to join us! As always, we meet on the second Wednesday of every month at Yang & Horsley Dentistry (325 E. Cottonwood Lane). Join us this Wednesday, the 9th, as we create cards for 21st Century Oncology to send wishes to their patients. Have a blessed New Year!
